Born in Gaza, Palestine during the 1987 Uprising (Intifada), and raised in the suburban industrial Inland Empire (Southern California, not-quite-LA). Degree in Arabic Language and Literature from UC Berkeley; full-time English language teacher with a passion for cartoonish creations influenced by Naji al Ali, Aaron McGruder, Gary Larson, Bill Watterson, Emory Douglas. and a handful of others. Freelance cartoonist, experienced merchandise peddler, often-controversial part-time poet and prose writer.
