I tuned into the sideshow that was the State of the Union to see a horrific masterpiece of jingoism and pitting people of color against one another. Basically, the speech writer propped up (and Trump performed towards) what they believe to be the "least respectable" examples of people of color from around the world, featuring them in order to further polarize black and brown people. America first... more like; America, first admit our role in the creation of all these so called rogue states and people: Iran's Islamic regime was propped up because the CIA didn't want a ruler there who would nationalize oil (or put Iran first - as it were), Korea's polarization is a representation of the Cold War at which America was the center; MS-13 comes from countries that have been destabilized and made war torn blatantly by American foreign policy (official and unofficial); the United States aids Israel 3 billion a year to keep the Palestinians occupied and living in terror (and so on and so on); and let's not forget that within our own borders, black people have been getting mowed down by police like as if this were South Africa during apartheid! I always have to say, though - and I mean this - the Democrats are not that much better as an institution (excluding a handful of individuals). Also, this rant only BEGINS to address only the left-most and right-most columns of Trump's four pillars... but I'll leave the image to speak for the rest of it.
