Football is incredibly violent. I don't usually watch, but I did this year, with friends. And I was sad over the player who had his brain smashed inside his skull with a hit that no one should endure for money. There is no amount that it worth that. He would have been taken off in a stretcher, but getting him to his feet was what all the fans wanted, and what the team doctors and others got him to deliver, so he could finally walk off the field on his own. Only the fans at the stadium saw that I think. It was cut from the tele. Because a staggered gate is nearly as bad as a stretcher.
