Disclaimer: I really am thankful for what I got as a person, and please don't think that I'm misreading this song which has a great message. I just have to question the causes and sources of inequality. It's not that I am not a grateful person nor is it that I want to live that life that the 1% have. Instead, I think no one should be allowed to live that life at anyone's expense. I think that if someone were to TRULY EARN that kind of a lifestyle, then they should be left to enjoy their wealth. Like, if they BUILT a great big Cadillac with a sunroof top, mined diamonds PERSONALLY to put in the back, painted their own gangsta white walls, installed and assembled the TV antenna in the back and so on then they DESERVE to dig the scene with a gangster lean. But really, the statistics of wealth inequality are ultimately the gangster-est thing I can imagine... "but remember, brothers and sisters, you can still stand tall!"
