Racial Harmony From an Elephant's Perspective

This is another one of my favorite characters: the angry elephant. I just like how physically impossible he turned out to look during his angry diatribe. The message here is something about racial harmony - like the song - a concept that seems dreamlike and unattainable (just thinking out loud, as an American) The spirit of this is to consider the marginal character in the story who is never mentioned: The elephant who likely died (or at least had to sacrifice his or her tusk) in order to make the piano which serves as the central metaphor of the song. This is the kickoff of a series of animals who are wronged (and somehow can express these injustices in English) who broadly represent groups living on the margins and whose interests are not taken into concern during mainstream discussions of rights within the dialogues of politics.
